This park consists of several islands on Lake Winnipeg, originally settled by Icelandic settlers. They were displaced after the volcanic eruption of Mount Hecla on their native Iceland in 1875. The area has a campground, 18 hole golf course, hiking and cross-country ski trails.

Hecla Village consists of a restored church, school, community hall, period home, dockside fishing station and a partially completed boarding house. There are over a kilometre of self-guided trails around the village. Park is open 24 hours a day, with $5 admission from May - September (free admission remainder of year).

Grassy Narrows Marsh & Wildlife Viewing Tower
Offers wildlife viewing from tower, trails, and boardwalks overlooking the marsh along the narrows between Hecla Island and the mainland.

Hecla Fish Station
Take a look at the commercial fishing industry on lake Winnipeg, including wall plaques, artifacts and a museum. Open daly 10 am to 4 pm June 30 to Labour Day. Free admission.
