The drinking age in this province is 18. If you were born after 1987 you will
not find anything of interest here for now.
In Manitoba, all alcohol is sold by the Manitoba Liquor Control Commission,
which operates liquor stores and controls the retail prices. The Liquor Commission has also licensed some
private liquor vendors, some private specialty wine stores, and beer can be
purchased from licensed hotel beer vendors.
Winnipeg has a wide variety of beer, wine and liquor stores. There is often
oneclose to or in your neighbourhood.
